Detailed review of my Guider 3 Ultra purchase

I ordered the Guider 3 Ultra about a month ago, and it arrived in exactly five business days, which was the estimated delivery time. The packaging was very secure, and everything inside was well-protected. Unboxing and initial setup were surprisingly smooth; the instructions provided were clear, and I had it powered on and connected to my network within an hour. I also bought some PLA and PETG filament with it. The print quality has been consistently excellent, even on more complex models. I did have a small question about firmware updates, and their online chat support was responsive, guiding me through the process quickly. The build plate adhesion is solid, and I haven't had any major print failures. The noise level is acceptable for my workshop. It's a significant upgrade from my previous printer and handles larger prints with ease. I appreciate the enclosed build chamber, which helps with temperature stability, especially for ABS. The only thing I'd mention is that the included spool holder felt a little flimsy for larger filament rolls, but it's a minor point.

Great value on the Creator 5

I was looking for a good printer for a while and the Creator 5 caught my eye during a flash sale. I managed to get it for a decent price, which was a big plus for my budget. It felt like a solid investment compared to some other brands I was eyeing. The free shipping sealed the deal for me. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Adventurer 5M Pro thoughts

I bought the Adventurer 5M Pro after seeing a lot of good reviews. It prints really well, especially with the high-speed filament I got. The setup was mostly straightforward, and the touchscreen interface is pretty intuitive. My only minor issue was that the initial print took a bit longer to start than I expected, like it needed some extra calibration time, even though it's supposed to be quick. But once it got going, the quality was good. Delivery was on time, so no complaints there. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, just that little hiccup at the very beginning.

Good little printer

I got the Adventurer 3 a few weeks ago and it's been pretty fun. I printed a few small things and it worked right out of the box. Setup was easy. I like how compact it is, fits right on my desk.

Anyone know if Flashforge does student discounts? Or like, an educational one for teachers?

N Noor Walsh 2 months ago
Yep, they totally do! I got one for my college course, you just gotta verify your student status. Check their site.

They have both, I think. Student and educator. It's usually a pretty decent percentage off, worth looking into.

I'm looking at the Adventurer 5M Pro, but also considering a Bambu Lab P1P. Any thoughts on how Flashforge compares, especially for someone who's not super techy?

D David W. 3 months ago
Flashforge is generally more beginner-friendly, especially their Adventurer series. Bambu Lab is great but can be a bit more involved.

My buddy has an A5M Pro and loves it, says it's super easy to set up and get printing. Bambu Lab seems cool too but I heard sometimes the software can be finicky for new users.

Does Flashforge usually include any filament with their printers, or do I need to buy a spool separately right away?

R Renee 2 months ago
Mine came with a small sample spool, like enough for a few test prints but not a full project. Definitely get a full spool.

They usually give you a little bit to get started, but you'll want to order a proper roll of whatever you plan to use if you want to print anything substantial.

Hey, thinking about grabbing an Adventurer 5M. How long does shipping usually take to, like, California? Trying to plan a project.

G Greg 2 months ago
Mine got to LA in about 5 business days, pretty quick for a big box. They ship from a US warehouse.

Yeah, if it's in stock in their US warehouse, it's usually less than a week. I'm in Washington and mine was here in 4 days.

Can you use more than one promo code at checkout? Got a newsletter sign-up code but also saw a bundle deal.

M Mike 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one code per order. Tried it before and it only let me use one.

I think their policy is usually just one coupon at a time. Sometimes the bundle deals are already discounted so you don't need a code.
